AKRON

Taylor Williams led the Tigers (20-1) with 25 points and 12 rebounds. Olivia Nicholas and Erika Nites each scored eight points while Natalie Silbaugh made five steals and Paige Loychik made four assists. Howland advances to play Warren Harding on Thursday at 6 p.m. For Kent (14-7, Abby Wemhoft scored six points.

Division III

LaBrae 59, East Palestine 27

MINERAL RIDGE

Ashley Stubbs led the Vikings with 15 points. Demari Brown netted 12 points while Maddie Kiser and Somer McCoy each scored 10. The Vikings to play top-seeded Ursuline on Thursday at 6 p.m. For the Bulldogs, Brooke Gedeon scored eight points.

Division IV

Crestview 57, Leetonia 23

BEAVER TWP.

Ashley Harrison scored 23 points and Crestview (15-6) rolled out to a 17-0 lead after one quarter. Gerie Sickle added nine points for the Rebels, who will meet Youngstown Christian in Friday’s sectional final. Kinzie Smith scored six to lead Leetonia (4-17).

Jackson-Milton 37, Youngstown Christian 33

Paije Kiraly scored 18 points and Jackson-Milton (13-8) jumped out to a 12-2 lead after one quarter before YCS rallied. Destinee Snyder scored 11 for the Eagles (12-9), who outscored the Bluejays 11-2 in the second quarter.
