Wedding vows were exchanged on Oct. 29 at St. Jacob Lutheran Church in Massillon by Megan Spencer of Cleveland and Justin A. Hernandez, formerly of Canfield. The Rev. Lynn Williamson officiated at the double ring wedding ceremony for his daughter, and a reception followed at Bravos Restaurant. A postnuptial reception is being planned for late April at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Williamson of Massillon, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Bratton of Medina. Parents of the groom are Dr. and Mrs. Amil C. Hernandez of Canfield.

The bride chose an ivory-tea-length strapless organza gown embellished with floral appliqu s.

Jennifer Daugherty attended the bride as matron of honor, and Jeremy Hernandez served as best man for his brother.

Mrs. Hernandez graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She is the managing editor for “Nightclub & Bar” magazine in Cleveland.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Kent State University and a master’s degree in counseling from Youngstown State University, Mr. Hernandez is the director of treatment at REACH Counseling Services in Cleveland.

The couple are planning a summer honeymoon in Europe.
