New Castle man shot 4 times in back

NEW CASTLE, Pa.

A man was shot Thursday evening in a house on Boyles Avenue.

Lawrence County dispatch center said the shooting happened at 7:50 p.m.

The fire department, which assisted the victim, said it was reported that two men shot through a window from the street.

The victim, no name or age yet available, was hit four times in the back. He was alert when he was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, the fire department said.
