ALLIANCES

Ohio Cultural Alliance will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. March 5 at the McKinley Memorial, 40 N. Main St., Niles. Michael Wilson will portray and discuss former U.S. President William McKinley. Membership costs $25 per person, and the cost of each meeting is $15 per paidup member and $20 for each nonmember. Reservations may be mailed to OCA, P.O. Box 561, Canfield, OH 44406, by Feb. 28. Those attending are encouraged to take nonperishable food items, which will be given to the Gleaners Food Bank.

ASSOCIATIONS

Columbiana and Mahoning County Beekeepers Association will meet Sunday at the MetroParks Farm. A potluck lunch at 1 p.m. will precede the meeting at 2.

BOOSTERS

Girard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the high school cafeteria.

CLASSES

South High School Class of 1953 will have a monthly luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Johnny’s in Boardman. All classmates are welcome. No reservations are needed.

Youngstown Chapter of the International Torch Clubs will host speaker John Fockler Jr. at its dinner-discussion meeting at 6 p.m. Monday in the Bresna- han Rooms 1 & 2 in Kilcawley Center, on the campus of Youngstown State University. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection is taking reservations for a “Spring Ahead” luncheon. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 14 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The reservation deadline is March 7. The program will feature “Sweet D Bites” online bakery with Deanna Fusillo, music by Bob Noble, and guest speaker Theresa Herr, whose topic will be “Victory Over Rejection.”
