Canfield swimmers named First Team AAC


The Canfield girls swim team had five girls named First Team AAC in individual competition this season, led by Olivia Williamson, who was named First Team AAC for the 100 free and the 100-yard breaststroke.

Mallory Allen earned First Team honors for the 100 fly and the 100 freestyle. Jamie Wellham was named First Team for the 50-yard free and Sarah Heaven received it for the 100-yard backstroke and the 200-yard individual medley.

The Canfield girls swim team was also named First Team for the 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard free relay.

Earning First Team for the 200-yard medley relay was Heaven, Williamson, Allen and Wellham. Heaven, Briana O’Malley, Williamson and Allen all received First Team for the 400-yard free.

Eight swimmers for the Canfield boys team were named First Team in individual competition. Daniel Bogen received First Team for the 100-yard free and the 200-yard free.

Mark Dalvin was named First Team for the 50-yard free and Connor Brady received it for the 100-yard fly and the 100-yard backstroke.

In the 500 free, Drew Bennett earned the honors and in the 100-yard breaststroke Jake Smith was named First Team. Kyle Anderson took the honors for the 200-yard individual medley.

The boys team also earned First Team for three relays including the 200-yard medley relay, the 200-yard free relay and the 400-yard free relay.

Earning First Team for the 200-yard medley relay was Adam Weiss, Smith, Brady and Michael DiDomenico. For the 200-yard free relay, Brady, Bogen, Smith and Dalvin received the honors. For the 400-yard free relay Dalvin, Mike Cardone, DiDomenico and Bogen were named First Team.
