Country music’s fiery gal Miranda Lambert is packing up the Airstream and coming to Youngstown for what should be a rockin’ show Saturday at Covelli Centre.

Lambert — who last year married Blake Shelton in a Texas wedding complete with guests Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Cee Lo Green, Martina McBride and Dierks Bentley — is touring the country in support of her recently released new CD, “Four the Record.”

The Vindicator talked to the reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year about her recent television appearances, new CD and the aforementioned Airstream.

Q. First of all, wow, great job at the Super Bowl. How nervous were you?

A. Thank you. Singing “America the Beautiful” at the Super Bowl was very exciting. I was really glad Blake was up there with me. We were so honored that we got to sing one of our nation’s great patriotic songs at one of the biggest events in history. I mean, it’s the Super Bowl. It doesn’t get much bigger than that.

Q. Congrats on “Four the Record.” Stylistically, where did you want to go with the record and how did you accomplish this?

A. “Four the Record” is exactly what I wanted it to be — a collection of songs which inspire me at this moment in my life. I wanted the audience to know that I am still the feisty girl I was on my first album, “Kerosene,” but that I have grown up a bit since then and am settled and happy. Also, “Four the Record” made a lot of my dreams come true with all of the artists that took part in it. Some of my longtime heroes, Patty Loveless and Allison Moorer, contributed to the album, as well as new friends like Brandi Carlile. I hope everyone can find a song that speaks to them on this album.

Q. Among the album’s new tunes, which stand out as defining the album and why?

A. I don’t think any one song defines “Four the Record” because it is an album of all different kinds of sounds. It has everything from “Kerosene” kind of songs like “Fastest Girl in Town” to Americana tunes like “Look at Miss Ohio” to country-punk songs like “Mama’s Broken Heart.” For “Fine Tune,” a cute and sexy song on the album, I got to use this cool mic for unique distortion that I had never tried before. I feel like I branched out in a lot of new musical directions for “Four the Record.”

Q. Also congrats regarding your recent appearance on “Law & Order: SVU.” Do we smell acting career?

A. I’ve never really dreamed of an acting career, but “Law and Order: SVU” is my favorite show ever, so I was thrilled to be on it. I have a new respect for actors. [And] scripts aren’t the easiest things to decipher. But everyone on the show was incredibly nice and supportive, and I had a great first experience.

Q. What kind of market is Ohio for you?

A. I’ve played in Ohio before, and I remember that the crowd sure knew how to have a good time. I’m excited to bring Chris Young and Jerrod Niemann out with me to party with my fans in Youngstown.

Q. Speaking of partying with your fans, we heard about this amazing revamped ’70s Airstream trailer of yours with a taco stand and bar. What was the idea behind this, and will you be bringing this to Youngstown? If so, um, can we come by?

A. To me, Airstream trailers represent a lifestyle of freedom, and I spent a lot of time thinking about them when I wrote “Airstream Song” for my “Revolution” album. Thinking about them so much turned into buying three of them. I had one of the Airstreams decorated and made into a bar, so I would have somewhere to hang out with friends when they come visit me on the road.

Q. OK, we’ll take that as a maybe.
