Miss Pylypiak, Mr. Detwiler to marry March 31

Dennis and Andrea Pylypiak of Macedonia, Ohio, and Samuel and Monica Detwiler of Columbiana are announcing the engagement of their children, Katherine Pylypiak of Macedonia and Benjamin Detwiler of Palo Alto, Calif.

The couple have planned their open wedding for 2 p.m. March 31 at United Methodist Church of Macedonia. Their reception, where they will receive the congratulations of invited guests, will take place at SYB Hall in Stow, Ohio, that evening.

The bride-elect received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Youngstown State University and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Cleveland State University.

The prospective groom graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration. He is pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering at Stanford University.
