Latest Youngstown shooting victim dies


YOUNGSTOWN — The 19-year-old found shot in the head laying in a South Side driveway Wednesday afternoon has died from his injuries.

Lamont McQueen, 20, of West Lucius Avenue admitted he shot Cedrick Robinson, 19, after the two began arguing then fighting over a gun. Robinson was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head in McQueen’s driveway with McQueen standing not far away.

Youngstown police say Robinson died this morning.

McQueen is in custody and scheduled to be arraigned today, but it is unclear what charges he will face.
