Boardman fund gives grants to 3 teachers

The Boardman Schools Fund for Educational Excellence (BSFEE), a component fund of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, awarded grants to three teachers Wednesday.

The three teachers given funds are Karl Land at Boardman High School for his “Rotating Virtual Science Lab,” Scott Lenhart at Glenwood Middle School for his “Lego Science/ Robotics Lab” and Barbara Feaster at Glenwood and Center Middle Schools for “Personal Response Devices for Health.”

The Boardman Schools Fund supports projects that further students’ educational experience and works with alumni, the businesses, local governments and others to provide funding, according to a news release.
