Weathersfield firefighters, schools honored

Weathersfield Township trustees honored firefighters James Postlethwait and David Pugh with proclamations in recognition of their retirements.

Pugh has served 37 years with the department, and Postlethwait has served 21 years.

Trustees also approved a proclamation honoring Weathersfield School District for recent honors, approved a new 2012 township budget, hired a part-time police officer and set Spring Clean-up.
