Youngstown native has art installation

CLEVELAND

An art installation by Molly Pamela of Youngstown is on display through June in a gallery at East Ninth Street and Superior Avenue in downtown Cleveland. Entitled “(S)Exist,” the mixed-media installation is a work-in- progress. Although the window display is open for viewing, Pamela will continue to adapt the piece through February.

Pamela’s forte is creating conceptual images within the confines of a given space, rather than adapting a ready-made vision. Her controversial themes center around feminism, romanticism and dream analysis, and shine a spotlight on sensitive topics like birth control and the menstrual cycle. For information, go to mollypamela.tumblr.com.
