PITTSBURGH (AP) — Police are responding to a bomb threat at a major mall near Pittsburgh.

Police say the unspecified threat was scrawled on a wall at the Ross Park Mall in Ross Township, a relatively affluent suburb just north of the city.

Authorities were closing off the mall to traffic about 7:30 a.m. today, while they searched the mall and surrounding areas. That was snarling some rush hour traffic in the area.
