When the Nature Stone Mahoning Valley Home and Garden Show returns to Eastwood Expo Center this weekend, it will feature free admission and parking for the first time in its 22-year history.

The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

“It’s time to think spring and lose that cabin fever,” said event organizer Dominic Baragona. “This show is the area’s introduction to spring in the Valley.”

The Eastwood Expo Center will be packed with everything new for the home. More than 150 exhibitors will offer preseason specials and deals at the show, which is the area’s largest show of its kind.

Wheelers Grill & Fireplace will display grills, firepits and other outdoor living products. Sauna Bob’s will offer deals on indoor saunas for health and weight loss. The Home Depot pavilion will be loaded with do-it-yourself demonstrations and ideas.

Kitchen and Bath World of Boardman will display the newest and most modern kitchen. Creative Surfaces will show an inexpensive alternative to granite countertops with a special concrete product. More than 150 exhibitors will have preseason specials at the show.

Cooking demonstrations will take place Saturday and Sunday at noon featuring Chef Anthony of the Chophouse restaurant in Howland.

Back by popular demand will be Dave Dangerfield of Dangerfield Auctions, who will give free appraisals of antiques and collectibles from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Dangerfield’s appearance at the show last year drew hundreds of people who brought in items to be appraised. “It’s just like watching the Antique Road Show live,” said Baragona.
