BREAKING NEWS: 711 on-ramp to I-680 southbound is open

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio Department of Transportation said that the state Route 711 on-ramp to Interstate 680 southbound has reopened.

The I-680 southbound ramp to 711, howver, will remain closed through Thursday.

I-680 was closed for hours Tuesday after a tanker truck carrying diesel fuel overturned at the 711 on-ramp, spilling thousands of gallons for fuel into the city's sewer system.

The expressway is reopened only beyond U.S. Route 422.
