2nd man who died in Newton Twp. crash identified

NEWTON FALLS

Troopers with the Ohio State Highway Patrol have identified the second man who died in a Monday morning single-car accident in Newton Township as Justin Litz, 20, of Newton Falls.

Litz was a passenger in a car driven by Richard Aandewiel, 27, of Newton Falls, that crashed into a tree at 11:04 a.m. on Kale Adams Road three-tenths of a mile south of Hewitt-Gifford Road.

Troopers said Litz died at the scene.

Another passenger, Michael Robison, 20, of Newton Falls, was pronounced dead at Akron City Hospital.

Aandewiel was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center and was in critical condition Monday afternoon. Hospital officials declined to provide Aandewiel’s condition today.
