Crash victim dies in Newton Falls accident

NEWTON FALLS — One of the individuals involved in a single-car accident at 11:04 a.m. today at Kale Adams and Newton Falls Bailey roads in Newton Township has died, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

As of Monday evening, the highway patrol was not releasing the name of the victim or anyone else injured in crash.

The accident involved a car that hit a tree, the highway patrol said. Multiple medical helicopters were called to the scene, patrol officials said.
