Phantoms lose in shootout

YOUNGSTOWN

Mike Ambrosia and Dylan Margonari scored goals in the third period to force overtime, but the Youngstown Phantoms lost, 4-3, on Sunday afternoon to the Muskegon Lumberjacks at the Covelli Centre.

Following the five-minute overtime period, the Lumberjacks won the shootout, 2-1, to capture the victory. Ryan Belonger was the only one of five Phantoms in the shootout to beat Lumberjacks goaltender Hayden Stewart.

Margonari scored twice as the Phantoms outshot the Lumberjacks, 46-21.
