Calling hours scheduled Monday for murdered Canfield science teacher

The family of Stacey Sutera, who was shot and killed outside of her Canfield apartment Wedneday morning, will have calling hours 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home in Canfield.

Police believe her stalker Robert McLaughlin, 64, of Painesville, shot the 40-year-old as she was leaving for work.

McLaughlin was found 30 hours later dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound lying next to his mother’s grave in Unionville’s Alexander Harper Memorial Cemetery.

Stacy Sutera was a science teacher at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield and had previously taught in Columbiana.

The funeral home is located at 65 N. Broad St.
