BATAVIA, Ohio
Ohio Gov. John Kasich has signed an executive order creating an office and board tasked with streamlining jobs policies and programs.
The order signed Thursday during a visit to a Global Scrap Management facility in Batavia seeks to simplify a work-force development structure that consists of 77 programs across 13 state agencies.
The governor’s office says the Office of Workforce Transformation will have an executive director reporting directly to Kasich.
