Valentines for Veterans concert planned

CLEVELAND

The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, along with the Cleveland Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum and Help Hospitalized Veterans, is offering a Valentines for Veterans Concert on Friday at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The concert, presented to recognize the VA National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, features the American soul music vocal group, The Dramatics, which will perform a free concert for veterans beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The Dramatics also were scheduled to visit hospitalized veterans at the Cleveland VA Medical Center today.

The concert also serves as the 6th Annual Welcome Home Celebration for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Master of ceremonies for the event concert is Tom Sweeney, retired WKYC Channel 3 news anchor.
