Ohio to get another dose of snow today
COLUMBUS (AP) — Wintry weather has returned to Ohio, bringing snow to parts of the state after weeks of unseasonably warmer temperatures and drier conditions.
The National Weather Service said snowfall was expected in southwest and central Ohio today, with up to an inch falling by afternoon along the Interstate 71 corridor.
Parts of northeastern Ohio were expected to get a lighter snowfall.
Meteorologists from Cincinnati and Dayton to Columbus were warning drivers they’d see slick roads thanks to freezing rain or snow during morning commutes.
Columbus officials said dozens of trucks were salting roads in the region early this morning.
