Staff members on the ICU Team at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center will conduct a valentine bake and basket sale from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday outside the cafeteria, on the second floor.
Proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
Items will include pepperoni rolls, novelty cakes, assorted baked goods and chocolate roses, and 50 baskets for all ages will be available.
At Polska Kuchnia, learn to make pa ßzki
YOUNGSTOWN
Polish Youngstown’s newest education program is Polska Kuchnia, where you learn to make homemade pa ßzki, a type of doughnut available before lent.
Plan on getting your hands in the dough and taking home not just a recipe, but also your own tasty, freshly made dozen.
The lesson takes place from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown.
The cost is $25 per person. Space is limited.
