Manufacturing coalition meets Feb. 17

LISBON

The Mahoning Valley Manufacturing Coalition will host a meeting for manufacturers interested in joining the coalition.

The meeting will be from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. on Feb. 17 at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, 7300 North Palmyra Road, Canfield.

The Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition is a group of manufacturing-based organizations that have come together and pooled their resources in an effort to publicize the need for skilled-trade workers.

“We are very interested in rounding out our membership to include all sectors in manufacturing,” added Jessica Borza, executive director of MVMC. “I’m telling manufacturers: now is the time to make your voice heard. We are at an exciting point and are poised to make a real difference in addressing workforce shortages.”
