Annual walk will keep Easter Seals on track
BOARDMAN
The 8th Annual Easter Seals Walk is scheduled for April 14 to benefit Easter Seals of Mahoning Trumbull and Columbiana Counties and Youngstown Hearing & Speech Center.
The pledges from the event will help the agencies continue to provide programs and services for children and adults with disabilities and special needs.
Registration for the walk will begin at 9 a.m. at the Boardman Park Elton Beard Cabin, and it is free. Every walker raising $25 or more will receive an official Easter Seals Walk T-shirt.
Child representatives Lily Demarco and Cameron Shull will lead the walk through the park at 9:30 a.m.
Walkers may participate in a 1 mile, 3K, or 5K walk or run. Post walk activities will include face painting, pony rides and other activities for the entire family.
