Cook-off planned at St. Rose Hall

GIRARD

The St. Rose Winter Warm-Up Cook-Off will take place from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. March 11 at the Rosetta Hall, lower church, 48 E. Main St.

Chefs are needed to prepare a favorite winter dish or casserole (pasta, rice, soup, stew, etc.) for many people to sample and vote on their favorite.

“People’s Choice” awards will be given out.

Donations of auction prizes, bake sale items, canned soda and water and many volunteers are greatly needed.

Tickets cost $5, and proceeds will go to help reduce the parish debt.
