Church Mouse needs donations all year long

NEWTON FALLS

The Church Mouse Thrift Shop, 261/2 W. Broad St., reports that it helped many families have a brighter holiday season, including 155 children who received new toys and other surprises for Christmas.

The Church Mouse wants the public to know it relies on donations all year long to help those in need with food, clothing, utility bills, etc.

The agency’s aid is directed only toward those who live in the 44444 ZIP code or Newton Township. Others that apply are directed to other programs.

Each month, the food pantry gives food to 175 to 180 qualifying people in its service area.

This year’s Feinstein Foundation drive for the pantry will begin March 1 and continue to April 30.
