Hubbard 4th graders compete in spelling bee

Fourth-grade spelling champs: Hubbard Elementary School had its fourth-grade spelling bee Jan. 13. The first place finisher was Nathaniel Arthur, left, who successfully spelled the word “blatant.” Finishing in second place was Laney McCallister, center, followed by MacKenzie Hurd, right, who took third place. Nathaniel will represent the school in the Trumbull County and The Vindicator spelling bees.
