Mathews Local Schools will conduct kindergarten registration for the 2012-13 school year from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 5-9 at Currie Elementary School, 3306 Ridge Road.

To attend kindergarten, a child must be 5 years old by Sept. 30 and have the following immunizations: (5) DPT, (4) polio, (2) measles, (2) rubella. (3) hepatitis B and (1) chicken pox.

Documents needed for registration are child’s birth certificate, immunization records, Social Security card, parent’s driver’s license, proof of residency (utility or phone bill) and custody papers if applicable.
