CANTON
The DeLuca Show, a popular morning radio show in Canton, was off-air for the second straight morning Friday while the show negotiates a new contract with radio station WDJQ-FM.
John Stewart, WDJQ program director, said in an email the station and morning show are still in a “holding pattern.”
The show, on its Facebook page, told fans it had nothing new to report Friday morning but added, “Nothing is over until we say it is.”
The DeLuca Show is the top-rated morning show in the Canton market.
WDJQ, branded as “Today’s Hit Music Q92,” is a contemporary hit music station heard in both the Canton and Youngstown markets.
