Historical Society elects officers

The Poland Historical Society elected new officers for 2012.

Newly-elected officers are Ed Virostek, president; Laurie Fox, vice president; Diane Walkama, secretary and Pepper McGarry, treasurer.

The group will host its regular meetings on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. with the next meeting set for Feb. 21. Meetings are at the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum located on the northeast corner of Center Road and Struthers Road in Poland Township. Members and potential new members are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings.

Membership dues are $10 per person.
