Getsy-Miner vows planned in private ceremony

The parents of Angela Getsy of Boardman and Christopher Miner of Hubbard are announcing the engagement of their children and their plans to marry.

The bride-elect is the daughter of George and Alma Getsy of Lowellville, and parents of the prospective groom are Dennis and Linda Miner of Brookfield.

The couple’s private ceremony will take place on Feb. 14.

Invitations will be extended for a post-nuptial reception being planned for Oct. 20 at the Byzantine Center at the Grove in Youngstown.

Miss Getsy is employed as a police officer for the City of Youngstown in the Municipal Court.

Mr. Miner is a corrections officer for the Northeast Ohio Correctional Center in Youngstown.
