Jaclynn and Amanda Choma of Austintown Fitch High School have been chosen to represent Austintown at the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) conference at the Avalon Inn in late February for three days. They will meet and associate with other juniors from northeast Ohio, totaling 88 students and presenters.

Both students are involved in cross country, golf, track and French Club and would like to backpack across Europe after graduation. They are involved in the Interact Club at Fitch, as well as Junior ACRY at St. Nicholas Church in Warren.

Amanda, the junior class secretary, is planning a career in math or accounting, while Jaclynn, junior class treasurer and band member, is more inclined to engineering.

The Rotary Club of Austintown provided full financial support for the three-day event, an annual project.
