Delta Sigma Theta hosts financial workshop for women Feb. 11

YOUNGSTOWN — The Youngstown Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority presents a free Financial Fortitude Workshop for 2012, empowering women of all ages to be more financially informed and successful in a number of financially critical areas.

The theme is “Do More with Less,” and will be from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Williams Elementary School, 58 Williamson Ave.

Workshop topics will focus upon achieving financial literacy through financial education, critical housing changes, home ownership, Ohio Tuition Trust Program, financial aid, budgeting, and informative breakout sessions along with roundtable discussion groups. Handouts will be available for some topics.
