The shooting victim told police he was near the Shehy Street grocery store at about 7:30 Wednesday when someone drove by and fired multiple shots in his direction. The man was hit in the arm and side.

The victim was able to open to the door to the store and ask for help before lying down in the doorway. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center for treatment of the non-life threatening wounds.
