Those heading to downtown Youngstown tonight for First Night reverie will have a new dining option.

Avalon Downtown Pizzeria is having a soft opening starting at 4 p.m. and going until midnight at its new location at 17 W. Federal St.

Avalon Downtown joins a number of new or expanded dining and drinking establishments that have opened in 2012 along W. Federal in the downtown.
