Upton House raises funds with sale items

Darlene Bennett, left, Sue Stoddart and Susan Papas hold some of the garage sale items that helped raise money for the Upton House in downtown Warren. The Upton Association also sponsors the Women’s Park, the location of a new monument that honors all women. The park is in Warren’s historic district between Kinsman House and City Hall. Bricks are available for purchase at www.uptonhouse.org. There also is a mailbox in the park that holds order forms. Upton House is available for rental and guides offer tours.
