Jessica L. Hayden and Matthew J. Nuzzi exchanged vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 17 at St. Rose Church before the Revs. Ron Nuzzi, uncle of the groom, and John Trimbur.

A reception was at Avalon at Buhl Park Country Club in Hermitage.

The bride is the daughter of Jeff and Rita Hayden of Katy, Texas, and parents of the groom are Paul and Cathy Nuzzi of Girard.

Ashley Kilar, the bride’s cousin, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Harris, sister of the groom, and Jewel Evans. McKenna Hayden, the bride’s sister, was junior bridesmaid.

Pat Cetina performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Michael Harris, brother-in-law of the groom, and Nick Licksai. Cooper Silvestri, the bride’s cousin, was ring bearer.

The bride is a licensed state-tested nurses aide and is self-employed.

The groom received a degree in business from Gannon University and a degree in mortuary science from Cincinnati School of Mortuary Science. He is a trade embalmer for Columbus Trade and Livery.

After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple reside in Dublin, Ohio.
