Alex: Trumpet

Q. When did you start playing your instrument?

A. Katelyn joined the band in the sixth grade after moving to Poland, and Alex began playing his instrument in the fifth grade.

Q. Best memory of being in band/marching band?

A. Katelyn: The best memories of band will be meeting everyone after moving to Poland, going with the band to the BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans, and attending District band contests.

Alex: My best memories will be going to Massillon Band Night each year and meeting new people. I am also looking forward to going to Columbus this year with the Jazz Band.

Q. Why is music important to you?

A. Katelyn: Music is important to me because it helped me by getting to know a lot of people and making new friends after moving to Poland.

Alex: I believe music has helped shaped my future, and it’s fun to play the trumpet and listen to.

Q. What college do you hope to attend/intended major?

A. Katelyn: I would like to attend Kent State University or Youngstown State University and major in Nursing.

Alex: I hope to attend Akron or Kent State University and major in architecture and computers.
