Mara Gonzales v Jeffrey Taylor

Mara Leonora Gonzales of Gilbert, Ariz., became the bride of Jeffrey Ryan Taylor, also of Gilbert, during a 6 p.m. ceremony Aug. 25 at The Wright House in Mesa, where a reception followed. The Rev. Debbi Brown officiated over the exchange of vows by the daughter of Gabrielle Scandy Gonzales of Gilbert, formerly of Youngstown and Canfield, and the son of J.R. and Sydney Taylor, also of Gilbert. The father of the bride, Rudy Gonzales, is deceased.

The bride wore an ivory one-shoulder tulle-over-satin ball gown with a jewel- and crystal-embellished chapel train. Her walking-style veil featured a crystal comb.

Attendants, wearing satin horizon blue and light blue gowns, were Megan Gonzales, the bride’s cousin, who served as maid of honor, and Laura Goodyke. Emma Dietz was the flower girl.

A.J. Taylor, a nephew of the groom, performed the duties of best man, and Mark Gonzales, a cousin of the bride, was the groomsman. Megan Dietz was the ring bearer.

The bride, who is retaining her maiden name, attended Mesa Community College and Grand Canyon University and received a degree in nursing. She is an intensive-care unit registered nurse for Chandler Regional Hospital, Chandler, Ariz. Mr. Taylor attended Humboldt University and is self-employed in Gilbert.

After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple reside in Gilbert.
