4-H youth program seeks counselors

CORTLAND

Trumbull County 4-H youth program hosts a residential camping program for ages 8 through 13, for which young men and women are needed to serve as camp counselors for 2013.

Camp will be July 28 through Aug. 3 at Camp Whitewood in Windsor, Ohio.

Counselors must be at least 14 and do not need prior 4-H involvement.

An application must be submitted and an interview and participation in orientation and trainings are required.

Training for first-time counselors will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at the OSU Extension office in Cortland. There will be a series of trainings from February through July.

Applications are available at www.trumbull.osu.edu, go to 4-H youth development, then 4-H camp. Mail to OSU Extension, 520 W. Main St., Suite 1, Cortland, OH 44410 by Jan. 10.
