Cardinal Mooney students celebrate feast

Cardinal Mooney High School students celebrated of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Mother of Americas, on Dec. 13 with a Spanish Mass in the chapel led by the Rev. Gerald DeLucia, president of the school. Students sang “Las Mananitas” in honor of the Virgin Mary accompanied with a Spanish choir and offered roses. Father DeLucia explained to students in his bilingual sermon the events surrounding the Legend of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which originated Dec. 12, 1531, in Mexico.
