CANFIELD
Dec. 12: A report of bad checks with insufficient-funds charges was made at Bernard Daniels Lumber Co., 250 Railroad St., for a total of $616 in charges for two bounced checks and insufficient-funds fees.
Dec. 16
Drug abuse: Police charged Andre Davis, 22, of Youngs-town with drug abuse of marijuana.
Drug possession: Police charged Tyler Hill, 25, of 19 Steel St., Youngstown, with possession of dangerous drugs after his arrest in the city.
AUSTINTOWN
Dec. 10
Aggravated menacing: A male was threatened with a gun at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A purse was left in a buggy and taken by an unidentified person at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Vandalism: A vehicle’s window was damaged at Dinesol, 168 N. Meridian Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Louis Delert, 21, Northfield, Ohio, on a warrant for theft.
Dec. 11
Theft: A GPS and an iPad were taken from an auto parked at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.
Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was taken from a home in the 100 block of North Beverly Avenue.
Theft: A GPS was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 500 block of Notre Dame Drive.
Fraud: $34.95 was removed from a bank account belonging to the homeowner in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Vehicle theft: A white Toyota Tacoma was stolen at Shotz, 3713 Oakwood Ave.
Dec. 12
Attempted burglary: Police charged Anna Watt, 18, of 124 N. Richview Ave., Youngstown, with the attempted burglary at a home in the 300 block of Forest Hill Drive.
Theft: A purse was taken from an auto parked at a home in the 10 block of Harold Street.
Theft: Gift cards were taken from Perkins Restaurant, 5550 Interstate Blvd.
Breaking and entering: Blake’s Mini Storage,2024 S. Raccoon Road, was illegally entered.
Criminal damaging: A window was struck with a BB pellet at Curves, 4330 New Road.
Fraud: $1,016.95 in charges were made to an account of a homeowner in the 600 block of Duke Circle.
Dec.13
Warrant: Police arrested Ashraf Fahmawi, 20, of 653 S. Meridian Road, on a warrant for felony theft and communications fraud.
Burglary: Police charged Dennis Kitchen, 51, homeless, with the burglary of a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Dec. 14
Breaking and entering: Police charged Frank Barwick, 59, of 4152 Belle Ave., with possession of criminal tools, and Franklin Barwick, 27, same address, with breaking and entering and possession of criminal tools for an attempted robbery at a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
Tampering with mail: Mail was tampered with at a home in the 3000 block of Easy Street.
Theft: Miscellaneous household items were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Woodland Trace.
Theft: Medications were taken from a home in the 1000 block of North Meridian Road.
Dec. 15
Drug offense/arrest: Police issued a summons to Olympia Rodriguez, 32, of 749 Cambridge Ave., Youngstown, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and arrested Tory Holcomb, 25, of 758 Pineview Ave., Youngstown, on two Youngstown warrants for failure to appear on traffic charges.
Assault: Several unknown males were involved in an assault at Chippers Lounge, 5 N. Edgehill Ave.
Misuse of credit card: A roommate used the victim’s credit card at a home in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Theft: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.
Theft: Police charged Richard Watkins, 53, of 186 Willis Ave., Youngstown, in the theft of $116 in items at Dollar General and on a Youngstown warrant.
Assault: A woman had multiple injuries and no memory of the incident that caused them at a home in the 3000 block of Riblet Road.
Warrant: Police arrested Ciara Bussard, 31, of 12686 Leslie Road, Lisbon, in the township on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of receiving stolen property and forgery.
Drug offense: Police charged Steven Masula, 24, of Warren, with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, and Joseph Neely, 24, of 342 Atlantic St. NE, Warren, with possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Dec. 16
Criminal damaging: A hood and windshield were damaged at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Burglary: A house was entered and several items stolen in the 900 block of North Turner Road.
Breaking and entering: A vacant house was entered in the 200 block of North Main Street.
Theft: Gift cards and $20 were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive.
Theft: Four Slim Jims valued at $1.39 were stolen by Marcel Rozek, 20, of Akron, who police charged with theft from the Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Damage to a door was done and copper was taken from a home in the 60 block of South Main Street.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged by gunfire at a home in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Drug offense: Police issued a summons to John Boland, 30, of 352 Creed St., Struthers, for possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana and cocaine, and issued a summons to Shannon Hrosar, 33, of 491 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, for possession of marijuana after their arrest at Davidson’s restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road.
