Fire displaces Hubbard family

Fire crews responded to a mobile home fire early today.

Chief Ron Stannish said a family of four was displaced from a trailer at Brookside Drive near Interstate 80 shortly after 3 a.m.

He said there were no injuries, and the family was across the street when crews arrived.

Stannish said the fire was contained to a bedroom in the rear of the trailer, but damage throughout the home was extensive.

He said the Red Cross was contacted because the family was uninsured.
