Mathews school board seeks replacement member

VIENNA — The Mathews Board of Education is accepting applications to replace board member Donald Cheffo who resigned Wednesday.

Cheffo, who was completing the first year of his four-year term, is moving from the area according to Brian Stidham, district treasurer. Stidham said applications to replace Cheffo will be available until Jan. 4 at the board offices, 4434-B Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna. The board expects to name the replacement later in January.
