Warren man dies when car goes off road

CORTLAND

A 57-year-old Warren man was killed late Tuesday afternoon when his car, traveling northeast on Warren- Meadville Road, went off the left side of the road just north of state Route 5 in Trumbull County and struck a tree.

The driver, Thomas F. Musick, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Ohio State Highway Patrol Southington Barracks reported. No other vehicles were involved, and Musick had no passengers. He was wearing a seat belt.

The crash occurred at 4:58 p.m. and remains under investigation pending the results of a toxicology test, the patrol reported.
