Resident's tip to Youngstown cops leads to arrest

YOUNGSTOWN — Police Chief Rod Foley is happy that a concerned resident and quick police

response removed two guns and the thief carrying those weapons from the streets.

Police arrested Floyd McDuffie, 19, of West Delason Avenue, after a chase with police Tuesday. He is charged with carrying concealed weapons, resisting arrest, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence.

McDuffie is in Mahoning County jail. He is set to appear Wednesday before Judge Robert Milich of Youngstown Municipal Court.
