US Rep. Ryan meets with military academy nominees

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Niles, D-17th, today was scheduled to host a breakfast at McMenamy’s Restaurant for military academy nominees.

The congressman was to eat with 12 high school seniors hoping to enter one of three service academies.

Students nominees are: Andrew Baker, of John F. Kennedy, Air Force Academy; Sierra Blackson, of Champion, U.S. Military Academy at West Point; Kristen Boye, of Howland, Air Force Academy; Gregory Haylett, of Poland, Naval Academy; Zachary Janus, of Kent Roosevelt, U.S. Military Academy; Michael Kenny, of Tallmadge, U.S. Military Academy; Dakota LaPorte, of Ravenna Southeast, Air Force Academy; James Naylor, of Champion, U.S. Military Academy; Karen Pavlansky, of Canfield, Naval Academy; Jeremiah Roscoe, of Ursuline, Naval Academy; John-Mark Weisman, of Howland, Naval Academy; and Anthony Wielbruda, of Brookfield, U.S. Military Academy.
