BOARDMAN

A man was shot three times late Saturday afternoon after entering a Terrace Drive home.

Wounded twice in the arm and once in the head was Keemonie Harris, about 20, whose last known address was in Campbell. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Boardman Police Sgt. Darrell Wagner said Harris and three companions were let into the home of James Truman Sr. under an unknown pretext.

About 5:19 p.m., several shots were fired by Truman and Harris, police believe. Truman was not injured.

The four, one of whom Truman apparently knew, fled. Police captured Harris on Southern Boulevard at Willow.

A woman with a loaded weapon in her vehicle was stopped on Southern.

Harris and the woman were arrested, although charges were not immediately filed. The other two remained at large Saturday night, Wagner said.

Police were still trying late Saturday to sort out what caused the exchange of what is believed to be about eight shots.

Two handguns, both revolvers, several spent bullets and other evidence were recovered at the scene.
