EAST PALESTINE

Kristy Lynn Foster and Kurt Seachrist were united in marriage Sept. 29 at the bride’s family farm in East Palestine.

The Rev. Randy Clark of Union Ridge Baptist Church officiated at the 3:30 p.m. double-ring wedding ceremony. A reception followed at the farm.

Glen and Sherl Foster of East Palestine are the parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Sherry Seachrist of Lisbon and the late Wayne Seachrist.

The bride wore an ivory strapless floor-length A-line gown designed with a peek-a-boo sweetheart neckline. The waist was adorned with silver beading and sequins, and the bodice featured beadwork and lace silver embroidery appliques on netting. Her fingertip veil was accented with pearls, beading and silver threading along the scalloped edge.

Wearing peacock-colored dresses were Samantha McCombs, maid of honor, and bridesmaid Kaylee Shafer, the bride’s niece. Flower girls were Maddison, Taylor and Riley Foster, nieces of the bride.

Mason Seachrist, brother of the groom, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were G.W. and John Foster, brothers of the bride. The ring bearer was Grant Seachrist, nephew of the groom.

The groom is employed by Columbiana Public Works.

The bride is a reporter for the Farm and Dairy, Salem.

After a wedding trip to Kentucky, the couple reside in Lisbon.
