Earl Stahl installed as Worshipful Master

Earl H. Stahl of Boardman was installed as Worshipful Master of Western Star Lodge 21, F&AM, in a closed ceremony Dec. 7 at Western Star Masonic Temple, 8387 Tod Ave.

Installing officers were past masters James A. Streeky and Michael J. Hughes. They were assisted by other past masters of the lodge.

The ceremony marked the 200th annual installation of officers for Western Star and the 13th at the temple in Boardman.

Also installed were William T. Adams, senior warden; Shaun M. Laughlin, junior warden; R. Sean Craig, treasurer; Tad C.Fithian, secretary; T.J. Perren, chaplain; Eric P. Ericson, senior deacon; Edward C. Wick Jr., junior deacon; James A. Patrick Jr., senior steward; Ray H. Huish, tyler; Robert K. Ellway, lodge education officer; and Thomas A. Kidd, three-year term trustee.

The installation was followed by a reception in the fellowship hall.

The lodge will begin a celebration of its 200th year at a special meeting Jan. 18.
